I began my career in early childhood education in 2004 as a Master's student in the ECE program at the University of Colorado at Denver. After graduating, I worked as an infant and, later, toddler teacher before becoming a large child care center director and ultimately owner. We opened Centennial Montessori in hopes of providing a preschool that can go above and beyond to meet the needs of busy working parents and their young children while staying true to an authentic Montessori environment.

I am the Director of Centennial Montessori and parent to three Montessori children. I have had the honor of being a part of this school since 2007, working my way from a Floater, classroom Assistant, Head Guide, and now Director. I achieved my Early Childhood credential from Montessori Education Center of the Rockies in Boulder in 2012 as well as my Director's certification in 2011 from ACC. Montessori is an incredible journey of which has transformed my life in many ways. It is such a joy to be a part of fostering children in early childhood and creating a love for learning that lasts forever!
Haley Hurlburt Office Manager
I have spent the past four years at Centennial Montessori assisting within the Primary and Toddler communities and I now work alongside the Admin team! I have over ten years of experience teaching children aged birth to six and hold a Director’s Certification as well as an Associates degree in Early Childhood Education. Montessori appeals to me because it allows for the child to learn at their own pace. "Education is a natural process carried out by the child and is not acquired by listening to words but by experiences in the environment." - Dr. Maria Montessori
