Nido

"The feeling we should have towards a new-born baby is not the compassion we have for the sick or weak, but reverence before the mystery of creation, the secret of an infinite taking bounded form"

Mrs. Rylie - Nido 1 Assistant Guide

Hello! My name is Rylie Drobnjak, and I’m really excited to be at Centennial Montessori! I
moved to Centennial four years ago with my husband and our two (now teenage) kids from the
Cincinnati, OH area. Coming from a large family, I started babysitting at a young age and knew I
wanted to work with children. I majored in Child and Family Studies at Berea College (KY) with
an emphasis in Child Development focusing on ages birth through five years. I was a lead
teacher for an infant class after graduating college, and after some moves and time to raise our
kids, I’m thrilled to be back in a classroom! I’m really looking forward to diving in and getting to
know everyone and continuing my education in the Montessori approach.

I am super excited to be a part of the Centennial Montessori team! I am certified with Montessori Fundamentals through Center for Guided Montessori Studies and am currently studying to receive my Child Development Associate (CDA). I have a Bachelor’s degree in Social Communication and have been in an educational position since 2014 as a Spanish Teacher in different countries as well as a Montessori Spanish Teacher for one year.
I came to the United States in 2017 from Singapore and am originally from Bogota, Colombia. Since I have moved to Colorado, I have loved it here! My son attends college in Colombia.
My Montessori experience has changed my life for the better. It is wonderful to be a part of early childhood education. Maria Montessori said that “The first task of education is to shake up life but to leave it free to develop.”

Mrs. Kristen - Nido 2 Head Guide

I moved to Colorado with my husband and two dogs in 2016 from Chicago, IL, and have been loving Colorado ever since.  I hold a Bachelor's degree in Music Therapy from Western Illinois University, and have experience working with children from ages 6 weeks to 18 years old in daycares and non-profit schools for children with Autism and Developmental Disabilities for the last eight years.  I love caring for children and enjoy watching them learn and grow into unique and wonderful individuals.  I am excited to work in an environment that allows children to learn at their own pace and explore their world without restrictions; I have found this in the Nido classroom with a Montessori approach.  In my free time I enjoy hiking, doing puzzles, reading, and spending time with my family.

Mrs. Wanda - Nido 2 Assistant Guide

Hello, my name is Wanda! I was born in Argentina and raised in Miami, Florida. I recently moved to Denver due to my husband's Military orders.  I have over 10 years of experience working with Infants and Toddlers. This is my favorite age group to work with. I love to watch the little ones develop into their own little person. After a few years of working in the corporate world I decided to go back to a job I enjoy more than anything, which is why I decided to return as a teacher.  On the weekends I enjoy being outside! My favorite activity is camping with my husband and our dog Maisie. I’m really excited to work with children again and love watching them learn something new every day! I'm looking forward to getting to know everyone!
